# Joy Of The Whole Poem by Samanyan Lakshminarayanan

# Joy Of The Whole

Rating: 3.1

folks...
stop this compete
it never makes us complete

who can out do the other
when we are all stringed together
like the drops in a wave....

our identity
is so wholesome
let us not make it so tiny

post and position
gains at our disposition
not at the cost of our whole

the joy of this whole
is embedded within
each of our souls

tiny we may seem
the success of our tiny selves
is not at all our highest esteem

we are born to enjoy
the joy of the whole
so...

folks....
stop this compete
it will never make us complete

A glorious theme well penned. We are already whole in our being and self but vainly search it outside in this material world. This is petty human nature.

I see myself so inferior to you already sir. And u win without competing. very fine poem sir. You are fit to be a philosopher enlightening us with the most common of truths and fats ignored everyday. Sree sree was a oet in A.P he led a revolution to goodwill influencing the youth. You must do your toil in Tamil Nadu. Sree Sree's simplicity yet complexity awed everyone, u have this thing in u sir go global sir.

The whole business world is surviving on cut throat competition. A sound advice is given in the poem not to compete, but enjoy the joy of the whole. Nice.

A very good poem. Sometimes competition is good and can make it complete. Too much pushing can do harm. Good write. Your friend Lynn

Well stated poem Sam! This poem speaks to a mortal condition about one human failure-the 'joy of the whole' instead a single person being part and partial of the whole.A solid 10

i haven't noticed competition anywhere here...have noticed greed only...every fore-runner would have a sweating limit you know!
