Just One Of Those Days Poem by David Harris

Just One Of Those Days

Rating: 5.0

You get up in the morning
and that’s when it starts,
as soon as you get out of bed.
You start wishing you had stayed there.
First, you can’t find your keys
or your mobile phone
and you begin wondering
if it would have been better to stay at home.
At work, everything wants to work in reverse
and for some reason your brain
refuses to get into gear.
As the day progresses
you go on a downward slope.
The day becomes a total disaster
without any hope.
You close your eyes
and wish you had turned over
and stayed in bed,
instead of struggling through
just one of those days.
