Kiss The Frogs Goodbye Poem by Practicing Poetess

Kiss The Frogs Goodbye

Rating: 5.0

You gotta kiss a lot of frogs
Before you find your prince
Someone has said
But, does that make any sense?

I am not a mermaid
So I don't live in water
From blindly following adages,
I just got smarter.

My frog-smooching days are over;
From amphibian-breath, I'm free.
I'm done with kissing frogs
My prince will have to come to me!

Your notes about the poem made me laugh. When I stopped looking I entered the happiest phase of my life. No looking under lily pads for me. I like the poem. It's universal.

Thank you, Barry! Glad I could elicit a laugh from you- - the endorphins work wonders! It's official; We've hereby kicked off the No Lily Pads club! I'm still not happy being alone (not my choice) , but having good friends helps. I've just had my fill of one disaster after another. The last 3 years of my life have been much calmer.
