Κράτα τα όνειρα γερά,
γιατ' αν πεθάνουν
η ζωή, πουλιού σπασμένη φτερούγα,
να πετάξει θ' αδυνατεί.
Κράτα τα όνειρα γερά,
γιατ' αν χαθούν,
η ζωή άγονη ξέρα,
πάγος και χιόνι.
