Last Words - Poem by david winkler

Red Rivers of lust and pain,
Heart bleeds of inspeakable shame,
I thought i was perfect in your heart,
But all i was was a friend from start,
You told me you loved me with all you were,
But i couldnt see eyes were a blur,
The tears roll down my eyes,
After your finish with all your lies,
Can't wait anymore for you to change,
My hearts open but yet its strange,
The life you live is the life you chose,
The life i live is the life i Lose,
Feelings mean nothing to you,
I don't even know what to do,
So Now I slip thy wrist,
Not even to be missed,
Therefore pain to be gone,
So heres my heart up to pawn.
