Leave Me Poem by Crystal Pierce

Leave Me

I told you I loved you.
I told you I cared.
You're one of very few,
and we had a lot of happy moments shared.

Now you're mad and upset,
but I guess that's what a person like me gets.
I could've just walked away,
but something pulled me to stay.

I don't want us to end,
but sometimes I think we should.
I want to be friends,
but I won't leave. Even if I could.

I'm gonna let you be happy,
because that's what I want you to be.
I'm gonna be extremely decent,
and stand behind you 100 percent.

If you do leave me,
my heart will be heavy.
I love you, no matter what,
and I shouldn't have pulled that 'stunt'.

My stomach hurts and my chest is tight.
I never meant for us to fight.
I can't look you in the face.
I guess you need some space.

and he had a lot of happy moments shared...........perhaps you meant we had? ? but i won't leave. Even if I could...capital i married people need a little space at times as well. sometimes just 1/2 an hour apart. sometimes forever! it's been forever for me three times with wives and a couple of times with 'girlfriends'. interesting! ! ! Poet's Notes. you will make me have dreams about it! good luck, if this is about YOU! bri :) i guess you liked to use several rhyme schemes! ;) :) you are growing up, indeed!
