Let Them Rest In Peace
If there be pothole
In a sidewalk of road,
Place on it a commode
And make it a SH! T-HOLE,
For, authorities all—
Municipal we call
Deeply are asleep,
So, let them RIP.

The accompanying picture taken from Bangalore Mirror shows a pothole in a busy area called ST Bed Koramangala. To wake the Municipal Corporation from its deep slumber, someone placed a commode in the pothole.

A humourous write bringing into notice the utter carelessness of Municipal authorities. They are not waking up even as so many accidents happen due to open potholes.Recently a threeyear child died by falling into an open borewell.This is India.Here shifting resposibility is so easy. Thank you Sir Aniruddha Pathak for this timely write.
