Dear little angel,
Do you know me?
I am your poor father,
While you are wondering
At the first sight in this world,
Then I am hiding myself
In the dusty noisy banker,
I know you are wondering why,
But dear it is only for you,
For you lovely mama,
For our better future,
I want you grow up in a new home,
Where no fear, no tear in your eyes,
Only smile will enlighten you.
For this reason I am fighting here,
With my last breath, my last dropp of blood,
I will try for a true earth, dear for you.
Wait for me sweet heart,
I am coming soon, to see your smile,
To hold you in my hard arms.
And then I swear, we will move away,
Far away from all of these,
There will be none to irritate us,
Only you, me and your mama,
And the beauties of life around us.
I promise you dear little angel,
Just a few days later we will be together,
And never leave one another forever.
I love you my little angel.
All wars are terrible and should be abolished, so that no one suffers, right...
A good poem from the ramparts of battlefield. Hoping against hope. Where is the place on earth where only peace prevails? Perhaps, in Antartica or Artic. Yet, this can serve a good inspiration for our children staying far away from the battlefield in hope of a re-union. Dreams can be given if not reality.
Damn...good poem. To think...in a few years I just might be writing letters (poems) like these to my family back home. Good poem, Comrade. Easy 10
For the good soldiers sacrificing their time and lives. Hope to read your next poetry re: letter from the daughter....
A very heartfelt narrative of a father's letter from the battlefield to his 'angle'. A father willing to fight for freedom for his family...wars are horrible and useless for the many but useful to the few.
nice description of a man being drawn towards his life from the war zone.
