To see in everyone I met
My little struggling self,
Always trying to do its best
Ever trusting who we are
Every day for us something new
Open minded for a diffrent view
Now never caring for what they new
This key of life I did forget
Upon a dusty shelf
Now it rests.
Very well expressed I agree with every verse :) We are all just fellow passangers of this world so we have to smile and see friends around becuase we all share the same fate in life even if our ways to this are different quite
I suppose we all own the same key. Some of us let it collect dust, others open new doors with it every day. Great write, Howard! Brian
Im disappointed, it just ended like that....write a continued version
I like yours poems and its secret a line... I see deep grief... But the life will be poor without memoirs... The Past same the ancestor of the future... I wish you all good, Howard. Tsira
Nice way to put this. We certainly need to be reminded to be open minded. Everyone has something we can admire and benefit from.
oh wow. this is, wow. hmmm....pick up the key, don't lt it gather anymore dust.
It is indeed difficult at times to take that 'key' down and open up......or even at time without a 'key'. Step by step, day by day is sometimes the only way.. I think you got is clear that life is something that 'can blow your socks off.' Ah, but then there is always hope that right around the corner we will find the good things. mm. :)
