Life's Unique Stages Poem by Walterrean Salley

Life's Unique Stages

Rating: 4.2

Each of life's stages
Often engages
A facet that is all its own.
Youth will at length
Bring with it strength
Then comes the time when one's grown.

Maturity is good
In the stage of adulthood,
When one has settled down.
Hope or dread, he looks ahead—
No more the run of the town.

Then there's old age
A unique stage,
When wisdom is full blown.
And it's okay
That the hairs are grey
For the seeds of kindness are sown.
