Tom had a cow with lovely calf
Calf was drinking milk only half
Tom used to milk daily
Calf felt empty belly
She kicked Tom's face as her staff.
Interesting limerick. Calf reaction is justified. Loved reading it.
Great humour. Interesting story with the calf's befitting reply. Loved it. Thanks, Kumarmani ji.
Well done calf, the selfish man deserved this kick. Enjoyed this lovely Limerick.
Cow and calf have deep relationship as mother and child. Your amazing observation gives wonderful and leaning in fun poem.
Calf Limerick has made me flatter! This is such a great limerick that I cannot stop smiling large. Ha..Ha…Ha Ha…
She kicked Tom's face as her staff......... great laughter, thanks for sharing the poem with us
I entirely agree with Geetha Jayakumar and many other readers who have commented here that the calf's reaction was justified, as s/he was being deprived of her/his legitimate right of mother's milk. A wonderful limerick that I've enjoyed reading!
The calf normally has a habit of suckling now and then even after its belly is full...it is the sport of any cub other than the cow-calf...even human babies up to three years do this...milk man has a reason... the calf by suckling a little helps him to milk easily... though this looks selfish this is better than eating beef and veal....good limerick...thank you

I would like to translate this poem
A beautiful limerick! Man is so thoughtless! He draws out even the calf's rightful share of milk! So this retaliation of the calf is justifiable!
