Limerick: Charles Dickens Poem by Kim Barney

I was born in a bank - - my mother went there and made a deposit

Limerick: Charles Dickens

Rating: 4.8

Charles Dickens was feeling quite witty
One day as he roamed 'round the city
So he cleaned up his flat
Just by selling two cats
And called it 'A Sale of two Kitties'.

A new limerick by Wes Vogler: (limerick) That's a no-go 'Great EXpectorations' was written, By Dickens, while washing a kitten. Publisher said: ' Whoa! That's a no-go! .... Change to 'Great Expectations' '(in Britain) (inspired by Kim Barney's 'Charles Dickens' limerick)

You took poetic license with a couple of plurals but in my opinion you can get away with it. A delightful limerick. Huzzah! a 9 so you can be shown even greater admiration in the future.

Thanks, Wes. You are the one who inspired me to write it. You are the limerick king! As far as poetic license goes, I plan to keep using mine until it gets revoked!
