There was a boy who loved custard
For a change, he ate it with mustard
Though it tasted awful
And the boy felt doleful
"Yummy"! He said with a smile plastered!
hahahahahahahahahaha- -I remember how as a child I would not admit I had made a bad choice but soldier on like I was happy with the result. This is such a reality-based limerick and that makes it the best kind of limerick! ! ! 10++++++++
I too have done the same as a child! Childhood is a time of wild experimentation! Thanks for your jovial response to my limerick.... Susan!
:) Wow! ... this is greatly done! I am reminded of a video with children first trying lemons! Lovely, lovely!
Wonderful imagery and imaginary. Beautiful Limerick on human psychology through fun and humor. Thanks for sharing.
his experiment failed, but he wanted to keep a brave face. But he was immortalized in a limerick. Lovely.
Yummy limerick. Best the way to smile when he can neither tell nor keep to himself. Loved your pen Valsa.

Magnificent, Valsa. There is a great insight into human psychology here. This reminds me of the mindset that refuses to acknowledge a bad decision. The boy knows he made a bad move. Everybody knows he did....but he just doesn't want to admit to the obvious...c'est la vie. Perfectly done, Valsa. A 10.
Spot on! You have hit the nail on the head! ! Thank you Lemon!
