कॉलेज में लेक्चर देते थे सिद्धान्तालंकार जी;
उनकी वाणी से मचती थी कैम्पस में टंकार जी;
तेवर भी बड़े प्रचण्ड थे,
पर छात्र बड़े उद्दण्ड थे
,
क्लासों से वह निकल भागते करके नमस्कार जी.

A lovely poem indeed. Truly, college students are a tough to control Myself, as an English Lecturer, I have to take care of all things Teach, control, give some relaxation, take care of their age, motivate, advice, Loved reading and commenting on the poem

A fine limerick, from the basic Hindi that I have been learning.
It is a satire on strict teachers and mischievous boys play tricks every now and then. Thanks a lot for your kind comments.
