Limits
Don't fly
Butterfly!
stay a little and enjoy
tiny buds
and fragrant flowers
that's the only world for you
given by the Gracious God...
so don't try
to cross the limits
'cause you are too little to vie
with the blows
of mighty winds
so on your wings
don't rely...
'cause your pretty wings are made
just to roam
from
Flower to Flower
which are your limits
and Destinations
but...not the sky...
Gotta love the butterfly. Everything has purpose- even the fragile little butterfly, which brings so much beauty and inspiration to life. A beautiful and insightful nature poem.

maybe you would be surprised how strongly some butterflies seem to fly on a windy day, and not just near the ground! ok, they may 'go with the flow' at times, but sometimes that is 'smart'! i've sometimes noticed TWO butterflies fluttering alongside one another, within inches of one another, and on a windy day! beautiful AND powerful? would you give a daughter the same advice? nice poem. i mean nicely done! bri :) to MyPoemList
