Long Night - Poem by Christine Davidson

I will not wake
I cannot sleep
My tears roll soft
I cannot weep
My right feels wrong
The wrong feels right
The lonely bed
The stretching night
To love is death
To hope is flawed
My only saviour
Christ the Lord
