Chibi Sayuri

Longing - Poem by Chibi Sayuri

She has always been trapped,
Locked in darkness,
Away from everyone,
Just sitting there and hoping,
Hoping that perhaps one day,
She'll escape to a place,
A place far far away,
A place that won't ever hurt her,
A place that will accept her,
And in that place will be him,
And he'll hug her and tell her,
'You're safe now'

I hope the she in the poem finds that place where she is safe.

    Nice work.
