Love In A Wintry Memory Poem by LeeAnn Azzopardi

Love In A Wintry Memory

Rating: 5.0

The only thing that kept me whole was
Yr sweet lips against mine
But they are a memory
That makes me want them more
I can only imagine you beside me
Watching it with awe
As we hold each other
Being glad it is Saturday
We don't have to go out
As we go back to bed
And fall asleep in the warmth
Of a home-made quilt
Where we are safe
