Love In The Conditional Poem by Sandra Feldman

Love In The Conditional

Rating: 5.0

We could have made
Beautiful life
Being together,
You're open heart
With my, forever,
You're brilliant strains,
That with love's melodies,
Ran thru my veins.

We could have loved,
Largely, forever
No boredom set
Love at its best,
Two souls that touch
Couldn't be better.

However,
No one controls
Another's feelings,
And broken hearts
Are often known,
For never healing.

Expressing true feelings in their natural effects, everyone can not do effectively. Articulating them in to a rhythmic pattern to make a poignant poem, should be still more difficult. You have done it fabulously well. Thanks Sandra for sharing. X
