Love Note 398 - Poem by Michael P. McParland
Sweet dear as I am about to
get dressed to head out the door
and go to the store to pick up
a few things with my mom
I wanted to say thank you again
and I love you so much
and more than anything.
I don't think right now with
this distance it is possible to know
just how deeply and how much I truly care
so as I reach out feel my hand within yours
and my arms wrap so tightly around you
pulling you in for a massive hug.
I love you sweet Kira and treasure you
more than anything that there is,
feel all of these sweet kisses so good
and know that your Michael
is there right next to you.
I wish you were here to join me
as we sang Falco together on the way
to the store,
Data De Groove and Junge Romer
if you want to jam with me where you are.
I can feel your big smile right now
and it gives my heart reason too
because you are in every way so very beautiful,
I wish you were here to join hands
as we went along and picked up
some small odds and ends.
I miss you sweet Kira
and hope that so soon you will be here with me.
So my sweet darling Kira as I
am about to head out I send you
these sweet kisses and hugs of warmth,
I will write you as I return home
and right after I get things settled.
I love you sweet darling and remember
I'll never leave you or abandon you
leaving you hurting all on your own,
I will stand with you through all space and time
because you are my Kira
the most beautiful woman there's ever been
and I want to be with you
hand in hand in each others arms
never parting again because we are true love.
Feel all my warmth and all of my love
and hear my heart as it sings to you,
I will return soon and write to you
my cherished and beloved best friend
and may God bless you to know I am there
because are my everything and only one.
