Loving Language Poem by Sandra Feldman

Loving Language

Rating: 2.8

You have to love language,
As much as poets do,
It's kind of an obsession,
Bigger than you,
It's kind of a submersion,
Half fiction, half true,
But that's what many Poet's
Just love to do!

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
I would like to dedicate this poem to the exceptional poetess that is Theodora Onken. We are blessed to have such a great creator among us.
And I also want to include all poets that feel the calling and honor and love language as the communicative marvel that it can be in the proper hands.
COMMENTS OF THE POEM

It's hard to compete with what's already been said, But I do so love language, and making rhymes in my head And I see it in you; you really immerse yourself in the fun Of sculpting words and making rhymes roll off your tongue

A fine tribute to a wonderful poetess! The love for language goes beyond words arranged in fancy dress and structure, it is the conveying of feelings and emotions...to place your soul for others to hold, to place our tears in a jar that they may drink and taste the salt of our pain and yes, to ride every line as riding the rapids of all thought and desire! Great poem Sandra!
