Imperfect is this world,
So full of big challenges;
It brings hardships, trials,
Temptations, woes, and stresses.
Making the correct choices
Is the topmost thing to do;
Promoting virtuous values
Is not at the bottom too.
Success seems not prestige,
Neither new cars nor gained fame;
True triumph tells to be
Freed from the eternal flame.
Satan and his cohorts stalk
The path of the believer;
They often offer enticement,
Luring him far from Father.
Wage war against the devil,
Though he is so determined;
So shrewd as he may be,
Bravely hold your ground to win.
A blessing or a curse,
Second death or salvation;
Choose between good and bad,
Making the right decision.
A wonder of a poem, I admire your faith my brother! God is the true poet and he deserves all of our praise, Satan will not stand, in the end he will be cast into the lake of fire, great poem of faith! !
Wow! You are so very good at explaining things explicitly and honestly! I totally appreciate it, your poetry is very refreshing and I love reading it, your messages come through strong and clear! Your rhythm is impeccable, rhyming superb! Yes, we must always fight evil lest we be cursed and taken away from our Lord. One thing check typo on the word Imperpect - should be imperfect. Thank you for sharing. RoseAnn
Great representation......brilliantly penned.....thank u, dear poet...
'Choose between good and bad, Making the right decision.' This should be the crucial thing in life.... choosing between good and bad, not for our well being in the other world, but on earth too! A morally uplifting write!
A beautiful poem, inspiring us to choose good over evil. In this world duality at times wars with our choices, but repenting and doing the right choice will bring us peace. 10++
