Mark Rutte's Rules.... Poem by Sylvia Frances Chan

Mark Rutte's Rules....

Rating: 5.0

MARK RUTTE's RULES….

Now that we have to work at home every day,
you have no more choices,
but you have to work at home,
no other choice, no way!

the public interest is affected
by Rutte undermined,
since he thinks he should say it,

every dutchman,
the alphabete,
who knows!

In his first speech,
had he said something
only the alphabete knows,

the rest were just guessing
and keep guessing,

then Rutte added more restrictments
after a few days,

the crowd, the people got a little more fickle and thought they understood him,

observed on the street and
marked,

no one followed Rutte's measures and advice,

a box filler, so unwise
went right past me,
to which I immediately said:
Hey! Where should that go? !
Walk at least 1.5m away from me,
have you never understood that? !

He pretended not to hear me,
look at him!

a few days after Rutte,
nobody yet follows the rules,

when my husband went to Appie Heijn,
he came home with this story:

Syl, look, there's a man waiting for me,
he serves me with disinfectants,

first he sprays your hands
and then the car you need,
gosh, I responded,
what a ministry!

Nice for the help to do
and earn this way alone,
that was the day before yesterday,
when my husband had just been to AH,

yesterday i needed lemons,
for the necessary rest in my throat,
because hubby squeezed lemons,
it must all be fresh,
for me and for him,
now i have to buy lemons again,
and hope
that they are still there,
or that they will be there again,

COMMENTS OF THE POEM

This time is dangerous as the Corona Virus has threatened the world. We should be careful and spray the disinfectant but in many offices now-a-says self service is initiated. We have to serve for ourselves. People keep talking and repeating the rules but we have to keep social distancing. Rutte's good rules should be followed not by mouth but by action. Government is taking the preventive measure to calm the people of affected cities and streets. Brilliant!

The facts narrated by the great Poetess happen too in almost all places. Panic buying is one of them. Everybody is hoarding goods. Those who have no money to buy many things are deprived of the goods. Some people are also not in compliance with the social distancing rule since it curtail their right of movement and travel. Yet, the effect of the virus is so encompassing. It changed our lives in just a blink of an eye. It created chaos and darkness.

The world was caught unaware of the Covid-19. We are all unprepared to face this enemy including the government that should be there to protect us. Our life has been drastically change because of this dreaded disease. The rules that the government implement are sometimes similar to those countries that have these virus earlier. Social distancing has been effectIve.in China where the virus was first seen. And some counties have totally implement to prevent the spread of the virus.

All are in quarantine and we have to work at home daily. In many country there is Lock-down. No more choice is left for public but we have to work at home as per our own choice and we cannot go outside. You should by lemons and preserve at home for future use. We are wishing you a very happy and safety life. Let Corona Virus leave this world soon. This poem is excellent and this deserves dull 10 point.
