Memories Poem by koyel mitra

Memories

Rating: 4.8

Digging my memories,
I find nothing but
darkness clawing at
the flesh of my mind.

My heart warped,
My inside dying
with intense pain.
Unable to repress
unrelenting tears.

This cannot go on,
Life has to move on;
I must burn them
and live off the ashes!

A good poem. A depressing situation that ends on a high note. Good work. Regards Ron
