All the dreams I had turned to ash.
All the happy moments I lived went in a crash.
All the promises we kept, you threw it carelessly in the trash.
I don't know what happened, as if I went blind by a flash.
What had I done? ! What had I made? !
Should I have gone? ! Should I have stayed? !
Where is that one, who made me glad.
Everything had gone, I feel nothing, I'm dead.
Day after day, night after night.
I remember our moments, I remember our interesting fight.
I chose you from all the people, I was sure, I was right.
We drew a colourful picture, and once it became white.
people dissapear in a flash leaving footprints on the path of our lives...............yet we revive them through such poems..................memories are nostalgic, soothing yet a sweet pain that we relish to poke again and again.........
Loaded with love and longings that make the heart sad - yet full of feelings and surging with significance.
I love the loss of color at the end. These types of descriptions in poems really bring them to life, and I can feel the loss of color in your life, keep up the good work. :)
A wonderful mixture of the emotions we receive through love, the ecstasy and thrill of it's beginnings and the heartache of it falling to pieces. The uncertainty, doubts, blaming of self all making us lose hope, all the color of love ending up just a white blank sheet of paper, no words to explain it's loss. You have made an excellent attempt at portraying it showing us your raw and unadulterated feelings associated with the pain. Great poem, sad that this came about. I've added you to my poet's list, thank you for sharing your heart. RoseAnn
lovely combination of pleasing moments and unpleasing ones
I am spell bound: -) how beautifully you captured every inner feeling about your loved one: -) May Allah bless you stay blessed ever and keep penning spread your words in every edge of this world....
Nice piece. The first two lines of the second stanza my favourite. I'm not qualified to give a serious opinion. Good luck and a happy new year.
Another wonderful, well written, and sad poem. Should the last word in line 6 be 'stayed' instead of said?
This poem has not been translated into any other language yet.
I would like to translate this poem
I like the last two lines...like a new, blank page -waiting for the next chapter of your life to be written.
