Midnight Desires Poem by Leslie Alexis

Midnight Desires

Rating: 0.5

My bed is not very big, it is small
Designed so one would sleep comfortably
A complete roll and I would be on the floor
But tonight I am wishing for the smell of your
Hair, and would give up rest to have you here
Your warm body close to mine- because it has to be
Is enough for me to forget sleep for a thousand years
With you here, it is just one of my long lost cares
Alternatively, you could sleep on top of me
Your breast on my chest, your lips on my lips
It's better for loving anyways - I crave those days.

Love does not need a big space it needs a big-big heart.. Love is an entirely selfless feeling.. with infinite desire to give up ones pleasure for ones loved one! and we always crave for our loves presence.. All these characters of love have been beautifully presented by you with feelings peeping out of your each sentence!

I love the wording in this. It brings out the intimacy of the write as well as its romanticism. Love it!
