Missing Voices Poem by Sandra Feldman

Missing Voices

Rating: 4.8

The Voice of Sanity,
Where is it?
Swallowed by
The devil's call?
By human hypocrisy
And unlimited greed
Of which,
We are guilty
All!
Since the very beginning
Greed and lies
Have soiled it all,
Losing Paradise
Was not enough
Now also, the devil
Is in us,
We can't seem
To snuff out bad stuff,
Living off of
Lies and bluff,
Trust no one,
Even though,
Living alone,
Is ruff!
Better alone,
Than living
As a lying louse.

Sometimes in our aloneness, we can snuff out the bad stuff. And empower oursellves and those around us! Food for thought, Sandra. Thanks for your food for thought!
