Mother Earth Poem by Parameswaran Nair Damodaran Nair

Mother Earth

Rating: 5.0

Sad sighs of Mother Earth rise up
And forms in the sky dark clouds
Listen and hear the sound of rain
It's her sobs amid the raining pain
The weight of sins turns so heavy
That it makes her limp and crawl
Saving yet you sinners from pain
For you are children born to her

Thank you dear poetess RMJ. Like a mother who ignores her children's mischief Mother Earth is suffering silently.

Mother Earth is such with a benign heart to save us all despite our wrong deeds...no wonder she is worshipped as a Goddess...an inspiring poem on a truth
