It's a very, very, VERY rainy winter this year.
Someday I'll have to mow our lawn, I DO fear,
before our beloved St. Bernard gets lost inside of it …
when she strolls out back to take a BIG doggy shit.
AND before our neighbor calls the "neat-lawn police"!
I'll, SOME day, have to mow at least....a little piece …….
of the one acre (and more) of grass reaching for the sky.
Why DID we ever buy this place? Why, oh WHY? !
Some ….day.

All I have to say is, slab it lol no grass hahah plenty of chuckle factor though. Annette; -)
Mown down by this poem. So the the grass is as high as an elephants eye, your neighbour is just high and if living in the mountains maybe a St Bernard would not be a bad idea Great piece as usual you had me laughing and crying and howling but not necessarily in that order thanks Andy: 7) 10+++
Hahahaa....to have a lawn is good but mowing it is really boring and difficult. Nice poem. Enjoyed.
Hate mowing lawns. Luckily my cat loves elephant grass! Brilliant effort, Bri. So my mate, Rod, has been getting at you, too. His poems are getting better and better.

Maintaining a lawn is no easy task ! I have a little piece of lawn, around my courtyard..... barely six hundred square feet....! Still I find it difficult to maintain! I am sure, it is left to grow neck high to make it convenient for Bri to hide behind and pry! As ever, your poems never fail to give a chortle!
