Music - Poem by Christina Viera

Music comes in many forms and shapes.
It embraces the soul and is a great escape.
Without music I would be filled with sorrow.
Maybe even my heart would be hallow.
It is amazing what it could do.
With a note or two.
With it I could touch the cosmos.

Maybe, just maybe.
I was meant to become a musician.
I could go on many expeditions.
I would follow my dream,
Supported by a beam,
Of hope and love.
Maybe I am unworthy of,
All the things that I could become.
But regardless,
It’s a game of chess.
I should win?
