My Aesthetic Sense Poem by Akhtar Jawad

My Aesthetic Sense

Rating: 5.0

I am an over ambitious man
I am in search of my ideal.
she must be so beautiful
that fairies of heaven when look at her are paralyzed.
For last seventy years
(Yes my search started when I was only two years old.)
I have been looking for my beloved
who is yet to be loved!
The women whom I found inclined to respond my love
were neither truthful nor honest
they all were corrupts.
My mighty wife took advantage of it.
My failures to find my ideal
gave her an opportunity
to capture my body and soul.
What could I do?
Now, I am her slave.
Might is right!

Thanks for clarifying about your poem. For a minute I thought it was about your wife. I see now it's a metaphor. Thank you for sharing.

Hahaha Akhtar ji you have good sense of humor. Though I doubt with a wife like yours you really looked for somebody else!

My mighty wife took advantage of it. My failures to find my ideal gave her an opportunity to capture my body and soul. What could I do? Now, I am her slave. Might is right! O My God! Akhtar Sahab! Ha ha ha! You wife rightly deserves every bit of your body, heart and soul. Appreciating and proud of your mighty wife! God bless her! Aesthetic poem with a bright sense of humour! 100+++ This is for your wife who has captured your body and soul. :)

Hahahahah... your wife is lucky that you did not find your angel. Go on looking for one and i bet you won't find one better than your wife. Very nice poem. Enjoyed.
