My Conscience Poem by MAHTAB BANGALEE

My Conscience

Rating: 5.0

যখন আমি ভালোবাসি আর ভালোবাসা পাই সব থেকে;

I also feel the pain, I feel sorry
When I am forced to hate someone,
I live in the heart of happiness
When I love and get love from all,
Because I'm human
I have a conscience
I have the power to judge myself

I am not the angels
Those who were created only to do
what they are commanded,
They are just a natural robot!
They have not the conscience, intellect, and feelings

I am not the prophets or the messengers
Those who came or those who were created
only to preach the message that has been taught to them
Although, the messages are frictional with the before and after!
They are also the robot without conscience

I am not God or Creator
Even though He is omnipotent
He wants to take revenge
From those creations (weak) who disobey Him

I am just human
My religion, beliefs, cultures,
The principles of life and death
Everything is my free-spirited conscience,
I have a conscience
I have a good sense of justice

A good poetry. The world is not homogeneous. It has both angels, prophets and normal humans all having one purpose and one thing to fulfill. The God being supreme commander. So as a human your conscience serves the purpose. And I liked this aspect to understand where we all stand. Admirations for penning this insightful thought. Thank-you.
