My Garden, A Stage Poem by Malabika Ray Choudhury

My Garden, A Stage

Rating: 5.0

My garden is a stage
Where all ballerinas present their best performances! It's show-time!
First came the Tulip - the April-performance, the colourful bulbs heading out,
And showing off the world how ravishing beauties they are!
Then the Jasmine stepped in, like a very demure bride, wearing all white, but who can resist her charm!
Hydrangea couldn't wait until the Jasmine left with her heavenly fragrance,
And blew us away blanketing the tree with her white bloom of hundreds!
Rose, the Princess, knew she could wait and wait for her turn,
Keeping everybody on their edge, to witness the final performance with a grand entrance!
Applause everyone!
It was a blast!

my goodness! how did the DJ forget the bashful Blue Hibiscus? !
she was a little late because of the
inconsiderate Willow blocking her path!
she is here now, magical Show-stopper!
