My Shadow
The one who remained out of my sight,
the one I dreamed in a sleepless night,
melting my heart in the liquid moonlight,
looked not found, in a pleasant sun light,
never turned back and missed a delight,
chased me all time though not too bright,
in the dark felt you in my real insight,
I'm sorry my friend for the over sight.
Who cares for a friend in a shining light!
True beauty I saw in a total dark night.
Sometimes what is hidden in the light of day gets unveiled in the darkness of the night. In moon light, she sailed to you as a dream, as an engrossing passion and as a thrilling presence! Very romantic poem with great rhyming!
Night and day both have their unique qualities. The lighted hours illuminate harsh realities and the softness of night romances the mind and highlights the heart.
