My Wish Poem by Jayne Louise Davies

My Wish

Rating: 5.0

To turn back time,
If only to hold your hand in mine.
To walk with you,
On a bright sunny morn,
Each blade of grass, glazed with drops of dew.
When we would laugh,
again once more, as we stroll along the woodland path.
My wish right now,
But i know somehow,
that it can never be,
For you must remain in my memories,
For the moment,
Until we meet again,
I'll hold you in my thoughts,
until then.
