Needs And Desires Poem by Indira Renganathan

Needs And Desires

Rating: 5.0

You always heave a weighty baggage
Unwilling to part it at any age
With heaps of desires piled up huge
Never you think of an end with damage

One after one not getting satiated with any
Wonder how your heart desires for too many
How you dont think of the nearing end
That will give you an unfinished ceremony

A need is a must to live and needs are limited
But desires limitlessly sprout like deathless weeds
For you to likely deviate yourself on a goalless path
Where you're trapped in your own mind of uncontrolled wrath

'What to desire and what not to desire' teaches how to live
With right choice of wants, contentment yourself you give
