Negatively Positive Me
It's a positive that I'm alone with death
by birth we befriended, best friends til life's end
Negatively positive
I'm a positive in a negative mind
an environment refund living like a rebound
never wanted yet not discarded
happiness unconditional, so is my loneliness
suicidal mind's eye in tune to suicide's lies,
wise to the blind side
a smile for my hurt, a tear for my joy
food to fuel the life, hugs to pain's comfort
negatively positive as
I'm a positive in my negative mind
Wow this is so powerful. I enjoyed it so much that I wasn't ready for it to end. I found myself wishing it would have kept going. I invite you to read my poem Escape.
