Never Go Astray Poem by Uriah Hamilton

Never Go Astray

Rating: 5.0

Lost in a dream
Walking a rainy boulevard
On St. Valentine’s Day,
I’m singing a woman’s name
While watching the headlights wink
Romantic and sweet.

I’ve been seeking
For the last two months
In a gentlemanly way
To tell you how I feel,
The music you place within me.

If I ever win your love,
I will never go astray;
Every other woman
Moving through the city
Will be invisible to my eyes.

How wonderful to pen a valentine on a rainy night in the city. The imagery is enchanting and very true to your romantic style of writing. Always, Sandra
