Never Let It Be Said

Never let it be said
that I don't learn something new
and stuff it in my head
every day of my life.

Today's lesson?
Dinner doesn't cook
not one single bun
if you don't turn the burner on.

Frankly, I'm surprised
that someone bright
and wise hasn't devised
us wives a better stove.
