New Year Wishes, In Advance Poem by Ranjit Ravindran

A happy and prosperous new year I wish,
To the poets at Poemhunter;
This luxurious connectivity we relish,
Will be denied as we advance further,
Towards the New Year we all cherish.

Technology, we take for granted,
Has its share of limitations;
Festival-eve gets networks overloaded,
Suspending services,
Snapping connections, feelings unexpressed.

So I dare not to take any chance,
With this unforgiving technology,
Not a moment I will lose,
To convey my wishes grandly,
And paint your hearts with festival hues!

So before the network connections vanish,
A happy and prosperous New Year I wish.
