Looking at the moon
To find a sign of you
To get a bit calm
But it's too pale
And makes me feel blue
It seems we lost our sweet night dreams
Life could be our night feelings
Life could be our night dreams
Sleep, let your dreams flood in
Wrapping my arms around my pillow
Thinking it is you
Running tears on my cheeks
Like drizzling rain
Gasping for reaching your warm hands
Baby, long distance between us!
The storm voice in bare trees
Is like my sob voice in my solitary room!
Dark clouds covering the moon
The only companion of me
Turning off the fire spark in my heart
Rushing nightmare to my humid eyes,
Never seen each other before death! !
You write very well. It is a mature poem and a good write. Read some of mine.
This is a Cry of the Heart. It is the most universal human desire: to be partnered with a person who fulfills YOUR heart's desire and his too, so that the relationship is reciprocal. But your poem does not tell a story of that fulfillment but thoroughly details a crushing sense of loss. Its honesty cannot be disputed. This poem expresses a universal sympathy. It reminds me of something Beethoven wrote above the notes of his last string quartet: MUST IT BE SO? //YES, IT MUST BE SO.
LOve, Pain, struggle, disappointment, desire. you are painting words and giving expression to your images of your artistic eye from a real experience. tony
