*night, I Wait...... Poem by Dislocated Heart

It seems like forever, since the last time, I've heard your voice.
My heart is slowin down, Losing its beat, maybe even the sound.
I think of how we used to talk.. & all the other memories,
Its what's keeping me going right now.

You're the only one I wanna talk to..
The only one I ever wanna love..
Yet, thousand miles away..
Its whats keepin us apart.

I dare not to do anything that will lose my chances..
For this is one chance I never wanna lose.
I will sit, and wait..
I will try and scare your doubts of me away.

We all fear, I fear of losing the one I love.
A wall, that keeps me from knowing what is in your mind..
I wonder, I think, I wander the streets at night,
Just to be alone, knowin your there in your bed,
laying alone..
probably sleeping or maybe awake..
thinkin away...

I look at the stars, they used to be so bright,
with the gentle sparks late at night.
& with the moon, gliding over us, each night,
watching and shinin for those who fear each morning..
and what it has to bring.

I wait.....
