No Finer Place Poem by Jayne Louise Davies

No Finer Place

Rating: 5.0

The sky a beautiful cornflower blue,
Those memories returned,
With fond thoughts of you,
Precious reminders of sunny days,
Walks over mountains,
Through hills and vales,
And the memories flow,
Like a clear running stream,
Remembering those days,
That beautiful scene,
The glow of the sun,
That shone on my face,
The view from the mountain,
Upon that fine place,
The village I loved,
The village we shared,
There's no finer place,
That can be compared.
