No Further Harm Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

No Further Harm

Rating: 5.0

No further harm

Leave aside any concern
When life takes an ugly turn
You are reaching into His arm
To get protection from further harm

We are divided into different races
Each one claiming to be holding aces
No harm if that holds them together
As long as humanity does not suffer

How come any one prays for peace?
When they are targeting with violence
Kill people in the street or at mosques
While they are praying an almighty in queues

When religion does not permit
Or forbid to commit
Any kind of physical assault
Faith is certainly shaken even if strongly built

It will definitely end
When they count dead
And find no life in pleasure
Even if with abundance in treasure

No Further Harm

A hommage to humanity's duty to protect its values upon which it depends and exists.I did the same today by my 'The chaos of madness...''

The concern expressed for the ongoing violent incidents against the innocent people in different parts is very touching as also the call for stopping them. A burning issue has been projected skillfully in the poem. Thanks for sharing.10 points.
