No Lead In My Pencil Poem by Tia Maria

No Lead In My Pencil

Rating: 5.0

There should be another box to go
with titles like this don't you know
Because it's become quite plain to see
There is a very warped side to me

The thing is I just could not wait to find
That space I go to ease my mind
For when all the way home I did race
I searched & searched all over the place

Turned every drawer upside down
Not even a sharpener could be found
Alas there was not even a refill
For my trusty yellow click pencil

So much for my serious side
My inspiration once again doth hide
One day beautiful words will grow
But for now I just go with the flow

Is that not always the way, you see something everyday, then when you really need it, it's gone a stray.. Andy 10
