No Title, But The Poet Says:
what's so special?
your own haiku, senryu, tanka, or whatever
no translations or quotes,
in most of your own poems,
you can translate as much as you want,
this is not a criticism,
just my morning thoughts
above are words and words
arranged in a complete order
they stay inside the home, not across border
the home, its home, the poetry dome
like in ancient days roaming to Rome
finally, after so many days
you'll find in mind a way, your own ways
to create, not to exaggerate
let's say: the poet who'll create
Sometimes Poetry is used to convey our complaints when a system is no longer responsive to the very principles it advocates.
I have read all responses from the ardent poets here, and I thank you all from the depth of my heart. Sincerely yours, Sylvia Frances Chan
When a poet write without any fear of being rejected. I suppose the reader enjoy and cherish. Fabulous write, Madam.
What's so special? Dear Sylvia, Hardly ever any poet has used lies to hide, behind, Because poems come, are written by the heart and not the mind. A cleverly and dee[ply felt composition, bravely questioning poetry's might and flight. BRAVO!
A thought provoking poem that makes a reader ponder the lines invoked in this brilliant write.
This poem has not been translated into any other language yet.
I would like to translate this poem
