No Words To Speak Poem by ANDREW BLAKEMORE

No Words To Speak

Rating: 5.0

No words to speak I'm so forlorn
For all seems lost to me,
No comfort in the rising dawn
It brings more misery.
The morning sky so peaceful yet
So restless is the breeze,
That chills my soul I can't forget
The hurt of winter's freeze.
Each flower opens in the sun
Yet still my heart feels pain,
The colours bright the day begun
But loveless once again.
No words to speak for no one hears
Or there to dry my lonely tears.

Wonderful rhythm as I read this one Andrew, and the flow was great. It all melted together so well. I really enjoyed it even though it was a sad one. Love and hugs Ernestine XXX

This poem matches my mood tonight Andrew, Tonight my wife and I went to view a University, to see whether or not my eldest would enjoy the idea behind that sort of life/education Trouble is, neither my wife nor my self-have any experience in that way of life So I find myself in unfamiliar territory, we are a very close family Andrew, so when my eldest said that she liked the idea of living away from home .it not only surprised me but it also cut like a knife, it suddenly hit home to me she already feels ready to go, and at such a young age Sorry to download this on you, guess I just had to let off a bit emotion here Thank you Andrew...this poem says so much, more Love duncan X

Very sad poem, but well written. Couldn't you find a ray of hope in that new dawn?
