not a simple thing surely, but let it start with me, the change I want to see in the world. lovely write Lyn.
We can't change anything yet we strive and strive to change the impossible is how we'll survive.
Lyn, this is beautiful. I would have said I can't change anything Not a single thing... but we all have different manners of speech. As a former English teacher, however, I have to tell you that you should use LIE instead of LAY in line eight.. LIE is an intransitive verb; it needs no direct object. Lay is transitive; it needs a direct object. What is confusing is that the past tense of LIE is LAY and the past tense of LAY is LAID. Today I will lie in bed all day. Yesterday I lay in bed all day. Today the hen lays an egg. Yesterday the hen laid an egg. Excellent work. Keep it up.
