November's December Poem by Kewayne Wadley

November's December

Don't make me waste my time, as a second can't be given back as it flows in an hourless ocean,
The caress of your face,
Tell me, is it all in vain,
Do you want me as much as I want you,
Paper hearts that dangle on a string,
Simply hanging in the balance,
Not knowing what to think, what to feel,
Theres no need to spend the night alone if there are hands willing to keep you warm,
As sincerly as they speak, they dare you to dream,
If I told you I dreamt of you in an ocean of lights,
Would you offer me to come with you,
Would that change anything,
To please you in all ways possible, as nothing is ever perfect,
Would you succumb to the feeling of every thought,
Don't make me waste my time, as these moments can't be given back,
The vacations taken in your eyes,
Do you lie,
Do you see the sights I see,
As hands can only speak so loud,
When you think of me does your every thought blush, as mine does of you,
The depth of a need gone unfulfilled,
Or is it all in vain
