Nuclear Garden Poem by Eric Cockrell

Nuclear Garden

a world full of
Chernobyls...
one big nuclear garden...

is it worth it?
is this the best choice
for our children,
and their children?

is life worth so little?
and progress so much?
to whom?

24,000 years is a
long time to pay
for bad decisions....

Well expressed.Words ultimatum and rehearsing the final call before utter destruction.

a poignant poem written with clarity and appealing simplicity accurately describing a potential reality and asking the key generational questions in an appeal for world peace. I also have pondered how everything we have achieved as collective humanity, across epochs of history, can be throw away in a scientific push of a button in a deadly 'Moment In Time'.10+
